FILES PETITION IN BANKRUPTCY Menno Liechty, Salesman And Promoter Os Monroe, Lists Debts With debts listed at 974,761.90, of which 127,059.90 represents unsecured duims, and assets totaling $35.624.03, Menno S- Liechty, salesman of Monroe, filed a debtor’s petition in benkruptcy yesterday in the United States district court at Fort Wayne. The debts are a long list of notes and mortgages held by banks and trust companies of Monroe, Berne Vincennes and Auburn und by several individuals. The mortgages arc on pro perties iu Florida, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. A sumary of the debts follow: Taxes, 41,120; preferred 775.40; secured debts. 937.482; unsecured. J 27.059. 90 notes which ought to be paid. $7,323. The assests are: 921.317 worth of real eslate. sls hogaehold goods: stocks and bonds 112.921.37. Mr. Liechty lives at Monroe. He was one of the promoters of the building of the Monroe Home Store building and ot the building es the Alto Products plant at Monroe, following ita removal from this city.
