C- Patterson, manager of the local Western Union telegraph office, received a telegram today announcing that a new radio broadcasting station would be opened by the Bankers Life company in Des Moines, lowa, tonight. Radio fans are asked to endeavor to “tune in" on the new station tonight. The station will be a new Western Electric, class B, 500 Watt station, operated on 526 meters wave length. The call letters will be WHO. The opening will be at 7:30 p. tn. Central time. Other stations will announce the opening and telegrams from listeners are requested.
