I immediately went back to I the auditing d- partment and took h I look at our last pay roll and there his I name was plain as day. You can I imagine my surprise. The best part of it is that 1 have been at the plant several times and never knew he was there. You might teil Orval Harruff about this. Il will be interesting to him. Also give hint my regards. DAIRY CONVENTION AT KENDALLVILLE AUG. 7 Kendallville, Ind., April 9—Nothing is being loft undone by local and county promoters for the annual state Dairy Convention to be held here August 7. A meeting to discuss details was held at the office of Mayor U. C. Prouse here attended by representatives from the local Rotary and (ommunity clubs, county breeders' associations, farm bureau heads and L. A. Cannon, of the dairy department of Purdue. Mr. Cannon announced that/PurdUe and the state associations would do. promising that the Jersey Cuttle breeders of the southern and central parts of the state and the Holstein breeders of northern Indiana will display exhibits at the conventions. The Jersey and Holstein calf clubs of this county with more than twenty members. will also make an exhibit The Noble County Farm Bureau will hold tots annual picnic at this time. Both sessions will be held at the local fair grounds.
