Local Pupils Took Part In Latin Contest Five Decatur high school pupils went tv Muncie last Saturday, where I they took part in the district Latin : contest, held under the auspices of Indiana University. Mary Katherine Schug and Heretta Elzey contested in the freshman division, Doris Peters in the sophomore division, and Lie Anna Vance and Mary Potfng in the junior division. Ruth Hirschy, . of Berne high school, rook part in the sophomore contest also. Seventh Anniversary ot the Declaration of War. In the observance of this anniversary the ceremony of the initiation of the American Legion will be used, initiating into the Legion the new leglonaires that have Joined the organization since the first of the year.
