COUNTRY BOMS ARE SOFT NOW County Road Superintendent Urges Co-opera-tion <)i‘ Motorists C. E. Mngley, county superintendent of highways, and his deputies are striving hard to keep the roads in good shape and urge every automobile owner to cooperate with them. The roads are soft nowadays and much damage can be done to them by heavy trucks and excessive loads. Superintendent Magley urges all to obey the Indiana road laws. The I.oad-O-.Meters have been received by Superintendent Magley and when he or any of the deputies are in doubt as to the weight of a truck, the truck will be stopped, the meters placed under the rear axle and the correct weight of the truck and load will be registered by the meters. If in excess of the amount allowed by law, an arrest will be made. The district superintendents who are assisting Mr. Magley in looking after the roads are, William Bittner, district one, I'nion township; Geo. Gase, district 2. part of Hoot town-
