Berne Band Organized Last Monday Evening Berne, Mur. U —Berne will in all probability, again have band concepts during the coming summer months. The news of this fact will, no,doubt, be received with much welcome to most of the people In this community who will have at least some entertaltnmhit occasionally to look forwurdto . The first important step that will possibly indicate band concerts was taken Monday evening when the band organized. Many of the members of the former and widely known Berne Imud have united with the Dunbar band nnd have started th” ball rolling, in the way of band concerts. The band will very likely be known as the Dunbar Band, although not of the musicians are Dunbar employes. \ - 1> —— ABOUT THE SICK Mr. and Mrs. John A. BEULAH CHAPEL NOTE 6 The interest in the Red and Blue contest of the Anti-Can’t Class is increasing each Sunday, there being thirty-one present in the class last Sunday. The Blues were in the lead, but the Reds gained the extra points last Sunday. There are four more Sundays and both sides are working. The class also promises an evening’s entertainment before long. Several I plavs, supper, etc., will be on the program. There will be Prayer moot- ! ing and Junior League meeting tonight,. Also Junior League next Sunday afternoon.
