| Court House The Appellate court of Indiana has ' reversed the decision of the local court in the case of Nathan May against Walter L. Ross, receiver of the Toledo, St. Louis & Western RaiL road company. Special Judge R. IL ! Hartford lias ordered the Appellate ! court’s opinion spread on record. The plaintiff has filed a verified motion to ! substitute "The New York Chicago I and St. Louis Railroad company as defendant in of "Walter L.Ross. Receiver of the Toledo, St. Louis & Western Roalroad company.” A jury in the circuit court here found for the plaintiff and awarded damages for $1,150. Damage Suit Up Tomorrow The damage suit of Martha George vs. Nick Dlmitroff will come up for trial before Judge Sutton and a jury in the circuit court here tomorrow morning. The case was venued here from Allen county. Petition Filed In the case of Frederick Hilpert et al vs. Milton S. Hilpert, a petition was filed by J. T. Merryman and Rost Moran, administratrix of the estate of John ('. Moran, deceased, for an order directing the commissioner to pay the attorney fees lien to the defedant's attorneys. J. W. Vizard and C. W. Yager objected to the granting of said motion. R. H. Hartford, of Portland, is special judge in the case. Judgment On Note In the case of George E. DeWald vs. Art W. Yackey. suit on note, the court found for the plaintiff and awarded judgment for sll2 and costs. Case Dismissed The ease of George DeWald vs. Ezra l autz has been dismissed on motion of the plaintiff and costs paid. Bank Case Dismissed In the case of the Bank of Wren. vs. William G. Teeple et al. the parties acEged that there should be no liability of any kind to the defendants or either of them on the attachment bond filed in the case by the plaintiff and that the cause should be dismissed. The court dismissed the case at the plaintiff's cost. Lower Estate Settled The final report in the estate of Rebecca J. Ixjwer has been approved and the administrator. W. A. Lower, discharged. The estate was adjudged settled. To Sell Property The receiver of the Adams County Equity Exchange has l»een authorized to sell the real estate, machinery and * stales of the firm for not less than S».tHMI. at public sale. The sale will be held March 8. The property was offered for rale at a higher figure recently and failed to sell. Charles S. ' Niblick is receiver for the firm. To Issue Bonds For Ossian School Building | Bluffton. Feb. 27—Issuance of $124.000 in 5 per cent bonds for the erecItion of the new joint high anil elenieu- ■ tary school at Ossian was finally de- I [termined upon by the advisory board; of Jefferson township at n public hear-; mg at Ossian Monday night.
