E. I). Adams made a business trip to Fort Wayne this morning. Mrs. .1. H. Burroughs and Mrs. Hugh Hite spent the day in Fort Wayne visiting friends. Dick Ehinger, Dick Tunneller and Charles Holthouse went to Ft. Wayne last evening where they saw the •'Gingham Girl at the Majestic Theatre. The Wertz.herger confectionery on Monroe street has been closed this week for necessary repairs. The store will be opened Saturday morning for business. M. A. Kenworthy, who has been an operator at the local office of the Grand Rapids and Indiana railroad company for a number of years and who was recently transfered to Fish- 1 ei . Michigan, has been ill at his home in this city for the past four weeks. Mr. Kenworthy started work at Fishers, hut was taken ill with the influenza and he returned to his home here J H Is improving and hopes to be able to resume his work within a few days. He will not move his family to Fishers until after school fa out here. Miss Marcella Hower, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.
