Bridge, five hundred and rhum were played and prizes in bridge were won bj Mrs. Frank Lose, guest prize. Mrs. Lawrence Kleinhenz. Miss Marie Murtaugh won the prize in five hundred and Mrs. M. Harris the guest prize. Mrs. M. Sorg was awarded the club prize in rhum and Mrs. Cook won guest prize. The guests were then invited to the dining room where a delicious luncheon was served cafeteria style. Mrs. Clara Meyers played for the march and Miss Agnes Kohne gave several vocal selections during the evening. The committee tn charge of the evening included Mesdumes Joe Lose. Will JjOsc, Clem Kortenber, and the Missea Elizabeth Kortenber, Bertha Johns and Mary Lengerich. The next meeting will be held March 4 at which time twenty new members will be initiated. * Members of the Historical Club entertained their husbands Tuesday evening at a delightful valentine parly ut the home of Dr. and Mrs. J. M. Miller on South Second street. The spacious rooms of the Miller heme were att/actively decorated for tho occasion» in garlands of red hearts, which were suspended from the chandeliers. Small red hatchets, suggestive of Washington’s birthday, covered the window curtains and drupes. Small tables, accomodating the fifty guests, were arranged in the large living room land dining room. Those were most attractive with their snowy white linen covers, crystal candle stick containing a red candto. red candy baskets filled with candy hearts and pretty Martha and Geiyge Washington place cards. At d:3O o'clock Mrs. Miller, as hostess. Invited the guests to find their respective places at the tables.
