CITY OPERATES OWN STREET RAILWAY (U. P. Staff Correspondent) Washington. Ind.. Feb. 7—TUd Washington street railway line 'is now being operated by the city government, having been takt n over from Zlbii F. Graham through authority recently granted by the state public service commission. Charles G. Colbert, who was manager of the line during the period of private ownership, will continue us manager for (he city. This is the second venture in municipal ownership for Washington. The light plant has been operated by the city for several years.
