Team Is Showing Speed The Kirkland township high school basketball team is travelling at a fast elip this season. The team has scored a total of 202 points to their opponents' 60. ( Last Thursday night at the old high school gymnasium here, the Kirkland lads defeated the New Haven high school quintet by a score so 43 to 2. The first half ended 23-1 in favor of Kirkland. The second team is also playing good ball this season and has not been defeated so far. The seconds defeated the Peterson Monkeys 11-15 in a preliminary 1 game here Thursday night. o Semester Exants To Be Held January 3 and 4 The first semester examination will be held in the public schools of the county on Thursday and Friday January 3 and 4, it was announced at the office of E.
