Mr. and lira. Hunt were married in Union township. Huntington county, 50 years ago yesterday. For the past 48 years they have lived in Wells County, with the exception of one year spent in Delaware county. For 37 years they have resided at their present home. Mrs. Hunt before her marriage was Miss Raphael Tribolet, and was a ntftjve of Delaware county. She is 73 years old. * Mr. Hunt was born in Warren county Ohio, and will be 75 years old November 16. The wedding ceremony was performed by Dr. Austin, father of Mrs. John Walker, of Wells County. The eight children of Mr. and Mrs. Hunt are: James, of T’ocsin, Oscar, lof Union township; Alex, of Lancaster township; Theodore, of Decatuh; William, of Decatur; Mrs. Cloyd Sher* er, of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Mart Hockley, of Jefferson, and Mrs. Ezra Burgett, of Huntington -bounty. There are also 22 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs, Joe Hunter will be hostess to the Historical club at her heme at 108 North Eleventh street Wednesday afternoon. A good attendance is desired. The Research tilth hold a very interesting meeting at the home of Mrs. B. J. Rice, on Fifth street, yesterdav, afternoon. Nov. 6.—Elh 1 Heck, pretty 1 and 18. turned up her hose at a dozen policemen and detectives today when r they sought to force her to identify the man who shot and killed Edward Lehmann during a burglary here Sunday. Police charge the girl with j having aided the burglar. Lehmann, a watchman, discovered ; the girl and man at the Delson Manufacturing plant. Indianapolis, Nov. 6. —Attorneys for jGovernor McCray maneuvered today i for further delay in the bankruptcy i hearing before Harry C. Sheridan, referee in bankruptcy, which had been I scheduled for November 16. James W. Noel, the governor's chief • legal adviser, indicated that a delay [in the hearing was to be sought for the governor on account of recent developments in the governor’s financial situation. What these developments were, Noel failed to reveal. He had pre- ' viously taken the attitude that the sooner the hearing was held and the [main question of whether of governor’s main occupation is that of a farmer was determined, the better it would be for all interested in the financial tangle. L. O. Waring made a business trip to Fort Wayne this aftrenoon. Mrs. Charles Johnson, of north of the city was a visitor in the city this afternoon.
