Agent Busche, An interesting address on home beautification was delivered by Ed Chronister, Washington township farmer, who bus very successfully | landscaped his home. Mr. Chronister -explained very clearly the advantages lof beautifying the horns surroundings, showing that in financial benefit j could be .derived as well us self-sat- ! isfaetion in having a more agreeable lhue in w hich to live. Photographs of Mr. Chronlstor's home were of much J interest to those present and following the meeting it was found that several were interested in knowing the probable cost of such work.

Oct. 3. —The naval dirigible Zlt-1 arrived her at 6:48 o’clock this morning from her trip to j St. l»uis. The ground crew wus awaiting her and speedily landed the big airship. She made the return . trip in twenty-one hours. , The air cruiser sighted from the hanger at eight minutes after six. The ground crew was called an ihM ready to land the hugh craft a minutes later. The dirigible made sixty knots over Pennsylvania, according to Commander McCrary, who piloted the ship throughout her trip. | Rear Admiral Moffett, chief of the naval bureau of aeronautics, boarded the ship in St. Louis and made the reiturn trip with a rear admiral's flag j hoisted and fluttering in the breeze for the first time in history on such a craft.
