Says Old Parties Have Deserted Good Principles Chicag, Sept. 12.—The republican and democrat parties have deserted the principles of Lincoln and Jefferson, making neither party of any interest to the people of the northwest, Senator Henrik Shipstead, MinneVota, declared in an interview here. "Our people in Minnesota stand for the things Lincoln and Jefferson stood for, but you couldn't find one of their principles in either of the old parties as at present conducted," Shipstead said. "As a result our people have formed what we term the farmer-labor party and we will carry it into other states.” Senator Shipstead, said Henry Ford, Senator Robert IjaFolletle and Senator Hiram Johnson were the favorites in the northwest for the presidency. It seldom fails to relieve the torment and disfigurement. Sufferers from skin trouble should get a little jar of Rowles ‘Mentho-Sulphur from any good druggist and use it like a cold cream.
