Mrs. Clara Anderson was in Decatur Monday and attended to business matters in connection with the new Adams County Hospital. Ed Biteman, who had been visiting with his sister, Mrs. Fred Deitsch, and other friends here, left Sunday fcr his home in Toledo. Mr. and Mrs. Ray McCollum and Mi: - Madeline McCollum, all of Decatur, are 'spending this week here at their parental homes. Miss Caroline Acker accompanied sonic Decatur friends to Lake Wawasee last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Oren Cochran, of Muntie, spent Sunday with his parents, Rev, and Mrs. J. H. Cochran, pastor of the local U. B. Church. Bland Stahl, of Detroit, is visiting this week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Stahl, of near here. L John Miller and family and Miss f Esther Hutton motored to Muncie last! Sunday and spent the day with relatives. Kenneth Whiteman, of Fort Wayne, 1 was called to this place last Sunday because his wife's’condition had be-, come worse. However, she showed some improvement Sunday morning and it is thought that she will now recover soon. •
