June 29.-Thousands of groundmoles that have appeared ihts summer in Kosciusko and adjoining counties are giving farmers and townspeople considerable concern. Hundreds of lawns in cities and towns have been ruined by the animals which also have done much damage in the rural districts. Never before have the moles been so numerous as at present. Scores of the animals have been plowed up by farmers and in counties where bounties are paid for the heads of the animals, the funds provided for this purpose in most instances have been exhausted. Holders of the heads have been advised by county auditors to keep them until after the meetings of the county councils next September, ■when it is probable that further appropriations will be made. TRY SULPHUR ON AN ECZEMA SKIN Costs Little and Overcomes Trouble Almost Over Night Any breaking out of the skin, even fiery, itching eczema, can be quickly over by appllying Rowles Mentho-Sul-phur, declares a noted skin specialist. Because of its germ destroying properties, this sulphur preparation instantly brings ease from skin irritation, soothes and heals the eczema right up and leaves the skin clear and smooth. It seldom fails to relieve the torment without delay. Sufferers from skin trouble should obtain a small jar of Rowles Mentho-Sulpher from any good druggist and use it like cold cream. Black Lingerie Black Lingerie grows more and more popular, particularly the elaborate lace trimmed variety. It is also shown in navy blue and in brown. Blue Fashionable Paris is sprosoring old blue for fall to replace the Lanvin green that has been so popular for the past season. — o IF KIDNEYS ACT BAD TAKE SALTS Says Backache Often Means You Have Not Been Drinking Enough Water When you wake up with bachache and dull misery in the kidney region it may mean you have been eating foods which create acids, says a wellknown authority.
