Mr. Vincent is manager of a heading mill in Georgiana, and since he went there thirty-three years ago, this is his first visit here. Miss Rowena Shoaff returned last evening from a several days visit with friends at Fort Wayne. , Otto Marshall visited friends at Bluffton last night. r. S. Armantrout, of- Geneva, was a business visitor here today. Mrs. Eli Ray, of Monroe, visited relatives here today. 0. L. Vance has returned from Indianapolis where hu' attended a state meeting of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Vance spent three days in Indianapolis. Tom Kohne, former owner of the Hotel Murray and who has been conducting a hotel in Detroit for several months is here for a visit. Tile ground along the south side of the Mutschler Fucking company’s plant is being filled in preparatory to building a switch from the Erie to the packing company's boiler rooms to take care of the coal supply. The company is making several improvements and is one of the progressive concerns of the town. Will Schrock manager of the Fenner Stock farms and A. J. Lived In One Room; . Estate Was $83,466 Colorado Springs. CeSo., May 24. — When Mrs. Harriet Fitzhugh died - here two years ago, it was believtjd she was in extremely moderate circumstances. She lived In one room of a seven room house. The others she rented to tourists. \ In tlie one room, Mrs. Fitzhugh ate and slept. A small stove in one corner of the room was used for cooking, as w< 11 as to provide warmth. Behind the stove were piled old newspapers, tightly rolled like cordwood, for fuel. Her clothes were of the poorest material, worn threadbare. Tills month her estate, valued at $83,166, paid an inheritance tax of $1,533 to the state. Mrs. Fitzhugh left no will, so far as can be learned. Those who will benefit from this estate are Mrs. Fitzhugh's two sisters, Mrs. Lottie • ■ Marvin and Mrs. Julia K.
