(Courts Indianapolis, April 2d —(Special to | Daily Democrat)—Persons who cannot be convicted in state courts for possession of liquor will he prosecuted in federal district court, according to an announcement of Homer Elliott, district attorney, made public today. , Following a request from May.or Lew Shank for a conference, Elliott I announced, that, while he did not contemplate making the federal court a “police court,” he had asked that eight or ten of the most flagrant cases of prohibition violation he sent to the prosecutor’s office.
