Evangelical Ladies’ Aid societychurch parlors. The closing meeting of the Shakespeae club sill be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Dugan with a six o’clock dinner tonight. The dinner will be served to the club members : nd their husbands, after which an interesting program has been arranged by the committee in charge. ,A history of the club will also be read at this meeting. ♦ The Civic Section of the woman's club will be in charge of the ticket sale for the North Ward play which will be repeated in the High School auditorium this evening at 8 o’clock. The proceeds from the play will be used for playground purposes. + [ The I). Y. B. class of the United Brethern church, met last Friday evening with Mrs. Will Shackley, with twenty-four members present. During a short business session, the vice-1 president presided. The class pledged to support the pastor and Rev. Mitchell, for the two weeks during the revival meeting. It was also decided to pay's2oo to the building fund during the next year. The election of officers was also held at this time. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess. The next meeting will be May IS, at which time the class will entertain their husbands. ♦ Yost-Miller A pretty spring wedding was that of Attos Yost, son of Mrs. Sam Yost, of this city, and Miss Adella Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller. oi near Preble. The ceremony was performed at the Magley Reformed church at three o'clock Sun 'lay afternoon with the Rev. O. J. Englemann. receiving the vows. The single ring ceremony was used. About thirty-five l guests witnessed the ceremony. The bride wore a blue poriet twill suit with hat and gloves to match. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Yost will reside on West Adams street. Mr. Yost is a member of Yost. Brothers, contractors, of this city. + Mis;- Anola Franks will entertain the So t'ha Rea chib at her home on West Monroe street. Thursday evening at 7:30 o’clock. <• The Tri Kappa SJrority will meet Tuesday evening with Miss Florence Haney at her home on Madison street. ♦ A donhle surprise party was given at the home of Mj. and Mrs. Ed.
