Ministers Ezra Giendening of Geneva and irvin Pusey now of Auburn, but formerly of Hartford township, have been admitted by the Northern Indiana conference of the Methodst Episcopal church as qualified for the ministry. Twenty-three men were accepted by the Northern Indiana con- j I ference, nine of which were admitted | on trial, eight qualified for ordination jas elders, and six as deacons. These I twenty-three are now all qualified fori the ministry. Dunn, city court judge, and one of the 55 Gary and Calumet region officials convicted in the Gary liquor conspiracy cases, has seat his resignation to Governor McCray and Mayor Johnson.
