His death was due to paralysis, he having suffered three strokes since last Friday. Death oc cured at the home of his son Henry with whom he had made his home for a number of years. The deceased Is well known in. Berne, having lived on north Behring . street for many years. At the time when he lived there he had been one i of the oldest residents of Berne.
