During the summer they operated a store at Lake George and on Monday they will leave in their Ford for Florida, going byway of Washington, D. C., making a 700 mile extra trip or nearly 1900 miles in all. They have their Ford equipped like a portable (house and make it yieir home and sleeping quarters when on the road. x Messrs. More than 200 cities and towns in Indiana will be represented at a joint conference of the Indiana Library Association to be held at Indianapolis, November 15 to 17. Every library in the state has been requested to send a representative to the meeting. The Decatur Library will no doubt be represented. Distribution of absent voters’ ballots to county clerks for use at the state election in November will be made Saturday, it was announced Monday by the state board of election commissioners. The county clerks will call at the statehouse in Indianapolis for this supply. The distribution of ballots for use at the polls will begin Monday. October 23. The county clerks will again call at the capitol for the regular ballots. The distribution will continue throughout the week of October 23. Peterson will devote considerable time during the next two weeks to the campaign work. Sena tor Willis, of Ohio, who was scheduled to speak here Monday afternoon, will not be here, it was announced today.
