Mumma Probated Here Today — The last will and testament o! Rezin F. Mumma, who died at the home of his daughter in Bluffton this week, was filed for probate in the cir cuit court today. State Prison to Clear Large Sum This Year Indianapolis, Ind., Sept. 29. — (Special to Daily Democrat) —Indiana's state prison as a business institution will clear $50,000 to $75,000 this year after paying its expenses of operating a report of the trustees to Governor McCray revealed today. Various articles manufactured in he prison were sold for $916,508.78. PASS PARKING LAW Van Wert, 0., Sept. 29 —The Van Wert city councilmen have passed an ordinance that provides that all automobiles parked on Main street shall be parallel with the curb lines and the cars shall be four feet apart. The ordinance provides a penalty whn prosecution is necessary for its violation or a fine or not less than $1 nor more than $5. FORMER HUNTINGTON PASTOR DIES Huntington, Ind., Sept. 29 —Word has been received in this city of the death in Chicago of the Rev. Stephen Hassold, who far 17 years was pastor of the St. Peter's Lutheran church of this city. Mr. Hassold left this city about 25 years ago and held pastorates in northeastern Indiana. One son is said, to be cashier of a bank at Hoagland, Ind. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon in Chicago. A. A. Weber, a brother-in-law, of this city, plans to attend.
