Six members and four guests of the Mother’s Club were delightfully en tentained at the home of Mrs. Roy Butcher last Thursday afternoon. The rdoms were beautifully decorated with roses and other flowers. The movies was the subject discussed at this meet ing and each member responded to roll call by 'giving the name of their favorite movie artist. Several papers on this subject were then read and dis cussed by those present. At five o’clock dainty refreshments were served. The Epworth League cabinet of the M. E. church met last Monday evening at the home of Miss Zella Whiteman and elected delegates to repre sent the association at the district convention to be held at Bluffton on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
