In the deciding game of the series with Decatur, played, at Ossian last night, the Wire and Cable team of the Fort Wayne General Electric company won by a score of 22 to 16, after a hard fought game that was not decided until the last minutes of play. Decatur led at the end of the first half by a score of 9 to 7, but a great comeback by the locals in the second half won lor them. The work of B. Hamilton and Young featured for the wire and cables, while Striker was the outstanding star for Decatur. . A crowd of 400 persons witnessed the game, about half the crowd coming from Decatur and the other half from Fort Wayne. The Fort Wayne wire and cable girls team played the Decatur girls in the preliminary, and lost 24 to 6. The local girls were unfamiliar with the girls' roles under which the second half was played, and this accounts for their defeat, as in the first half under the boys’ rules, they had a 5 to 4 lead.
