Mr. Caskey Had A Great Message (Continued frflm cation for men and women. At present the theological school is closed. I as all of the students are out on famine work. They will be graded upon the strength and quality of the work ■ they do and reports made on famine work and future preventative work. The girls have given a number of plays and have secured a house in the famine area as a refuge for girls | in danger of being sold. The college girls have raised all the money and taken care of the proceeds and distribution of supplies, and have had as many as 140 girls in the little building at one time. Mr. Caskey says the work among these people is very interesting, and its advancement is remarkable, especially in the last few years. The future is bound to show a greater progress and Christian people everywhere must be awakened to the need. Mr. Caskey left this afternoon over the Grand Rapids & Indiana railroad and at noon tomorrow will give a luncheon talk to a Rotary or Kiwanis club at Battle Creek. Michigan. WEDNESDAY. JUNE 29. The Gluee club from the Mission House of the Reformed church which is located at Franklin. Wis., will appear in this city on Wednesday evening, June 29th. The announcement that this musical organization would appear here sometime soon, was received with considerable pleasure by the friends of the Mission house and others and the announcement of the date was eagerly awaited. They will give a high-class entertainment, and the gym has been secured by the committee from the local church, which has charge of the arrangements for the concert. Vocal and instrumental music will make up a program that cannot be excelled on any programs of the Chautauqua companies. The admission to this concert will be twenty-five and fifty cents, and advertising matter and further details concerning the sale of tickets will be announced later.
