After the meeting a social hour was enjoyed. ♦ The husne of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Bieberiek. in Root township, was the scene of a double celebration Fridayevening, the occasion being the housewarming in the new, modern home, just completed, and also the thirtyeighth birthday of Mr. Bieberiek. The new home just completed, is one of the very beat country homes in the county, having furnace, bath, electric lights and all the modern conveniences it cost Mr. Bieberiek more than $5,000 and was erected by I Hugo Frantz, the well known con tractor. Kelly, held a most interesting meeting Monday evening in the Sunday school room of the church. Forty were present and a program was given. A quartet furnished music, and : there were talk£ by Mr. Kelly, L. L. Baumgartner and C. L. Waters. A good social time was enjoyed following the business session.

DECATUR ATTORNEY AT SUNDAY "Y” SERVICES "Jngglipg the Ledger” was the subject of a talk by Attorney C. Lutz, of Decatur, at the Sunday afternoon meeting at the Y. M. C. A. yesterday afternoon. The speaker pointed out in his address that just as many men get into trouble by literally juggling the figures of their ledgers in business. There are many who come to grief by “juggling the figures” in life. There was a large crowd present for the meeting, including a number from out of the city. The visitors were asked to introduce themselves and give a short talk. E. L. Moller, of the Edison company, sang several solos. The meeting was led by J. C. Trltch, of the International Business college. At the meeting next Sunday afternoon, a member of the faculty of Hillsdale college will talk, and a week from -Sunday former Senator Albert J. Beveridge will make an address at the Y. M. C.
