H. T. Diehl of Bluffton, former Adams county citizen, was here today, meeting old friends and attending' to business. He and Mrs. Diehl and Mr have Saturday for Florida where they (will live during the winter. The' Will stop at Jacksonville for a short time and then proceed further south. Mr. Diehl is recovering from a long illness and two operation:- and is able to get about now only by the use of crutches. The semi-annual meeting of the Shrine will be held at Fort WayneFriday of this week and a number of the boys are planning to take in the big “fun-feast." The city council will meet in special session Friday evening to dispose of some important business matters. The snow is slipping, and anothei day will clear the fields so the farmers can finish their work. The corn was a month late this year and only a small per cent, of the corn consequently has been taken care of.
