The possibility of his vetoing it. because of objections to the guaranty provisions, was frequently mentioned today. Tlie house begins consideration of the conference report at 1 p. m. and •y previous agreement is limited to .'•ve hours. After that time a motion t.i recommit the hill to make it conform to tlie objections raised probably will lie offered. This may be debated an ’liotir. after which, under bouse rules, the final vote will he taken.
The majority of the republicans, it seemed certain, will suplport the combined bill, although reports were current that 50 memlient of the party vould bolt and vote with the demcferata. Partly offsetting this, it was estimated 80 democrats would not oppose the measure. Because of the republican majority this would give the bill a small majority. It is such a combination that is worrying those in charge of the bill.
