With the city of Bluffton in the grip of cold weather, th' fuel situation assumed serious proportions today. Many consumers had very little coal and inquiry to dealers showed their bins practically empty. At the court house, only enough was in the bins to run the day out and Custodian Sam Stout stated that he had none in view. Coal dealers declared the situation more serious than at any time in the past because there is no reserve supply. Under government administration a reserve supply was always kept on hand, and this has not been done since the ban was'lifted. Inquiry to dealers declare that there isn't a pound for sale and as a car comes in it is unloaded from the cars. Bluffton News. — IV*. Last year, more small cars, using 30 x 3-, 30 x 3 1 /2'> or 31 x 4-inch tires, were factory equipped with Goodyear Tires than with any other kind. This is plainly a result of the high relative value produced in these small-car tires by Goodyear’s enormous resources and scrupulous care. They represent the same intense endeavor to supply utmost satisfaction in tires that has laid the basis for the marked preference which exists everywhere for Goodyear Tires in the larger sizes. This real Goodyear value in tires is available for your Ford, Chevrolet, Dort, Maxwell, or other small car, at our nearest Service Station. Go there for these tires and Goodyear Heavy Tourist Tubes.
