ABOUT TOWN Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Augsburger have moved their household goods ■ here from Decatur and will again make this their future home. They formerly lived here until Mr. Augsburger was elected county recorder, which term he finished on December 81, last.—Berao Witness. The Pastoral Helpers of the Christian church wil Imeet with Mrs. Geo. Mount on Friday aftenoon at 2:30 o’clock. All members are urged to be present at the new pastor will attend the meeting. The American Legion will meet at the Maccabee hall Wednesday evening. The Legion buttons have arrived and all members are urged to torn eto the meeting and get one. Today was the last day to pay light and water bills without paying the penalty. The Northern Indiana Gas & Electric company has signed the lease for the room north of tne Murray hotel. which they will remodel and use as their office. They hope to move into their new quarters by the first of February. The Phi Delta Kappas will give an informal dance, at the Masonic hall on January 28th. DuValles’ colored orchestra of Indianapolis will furnish the music. Miss Hein Fonner, who has been ill for several days, is still confined to her home and a telephone message today said she would not be able to return to work for a week. Harry Harlan of Indianapolis wa* here this afternoon, representing the C. P. Lesh Paper company. The examinations closing the semester in high school are on this week and the boys and girls are wearing the usual worried expressions that accompany these trying days of school life. D. B. Ford of Portland was here this morning to attend to business.
