We hope to be up and coming again in a day or two. Governor Cox of Ohio will be the he <ilin r at the editorial meeting at Indianapolis the night of February sth. He is one of the greatest governors in the entire country, a big man, and his address will be worth hearing and reading. And the senate continues to "fiddle." We have about come to the i eo:/.-icn that is all they could do j it' they tried. Yet the press of the country, or at least a large part of it. has the nerve to defend such a congress, excuse the members and predict their continued support. It's hard to understand. The Industrial association will' meet tonight for the purpose oi es-, ft ting a permanent organization. This is not a social club, not a meeting for the purpose of speech making or entertainment, but a business session, pure and simple. If we are to handle the many problems that are sun- to arise during the next few months, we need an organization of thinking, working, earnest citizens who will each do his part when called upon ami will volunteer his sug-gi-iion, and his help. Attend the meeting tonight. It is entirely up to the people of the city, this question of securing' better lighting. The ornamental posts will add a thousand per cent to the appearance of the city and while there is a small initial cost it adds, so much to your property and to the 1 g< neral appearance that we should think ycu would gladly sign the petitions. They will be circulated this w ek. If you are progressive you vi .11 sign and help get the others in your block to do likewise. We are sure that once started this system will spread all over the city and that soon we will have a well lighted ami attractive looking city.
