There was a fair atend- - ance. After the devotionals the les- . sen subject, ‘'Path of Labor” from the r book of missions was led by Mrs. C. J. Miner. Sub topics were discuss- , ed by various members. The Fedluary meeting will be held at the heme of Mrs. Zella Baker. At this meeting the Thank Offering boxes will be opened and a special program will be arranged for. ♦ A very splendid meeting was held yesterday afternoon by the Shakespear club at the home of Mrs Chalmer Schafer. Mrs. Leah Ehinger had the paper, “Legal Aid Societies” which was excellent. A short study of parliamentary law- was taken up at the beginning of the meeting. Mrs. Jesse Sutton acted as secretary In the absence of Mrs. Dan Sprang. The Concord Ladies Aid society met at the home of Mrs. Charles Johnson and had the usual business period. The er of the afternoon was spent in making comforts. Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess. Guests were besides the regular members, Mrs. Rolla Houck and Mrs. Louis Houck of Hoagland, Mrs. Charles Gage, Mrs. M. Fritzinger, Mrs. Willis McQueen and Mrs. Dick Hill.
