McKinney of Russiaville, returned home this morning after spending Thanksgiving with Mrs. G. C. Steele and son. Mrs. Glen Ayres and son Billy Junior left this morning for Redding, Mich, to spend a few days with Mrs. Lester Patterson and Charles Craig and family. Mrs. Florence Craig who has been visiting with the Del Lake family accompanied them returning to het home. Mrs. C. E. Bell went to Fort Wayne for the day. Misses Cecilia and Anna Smith went to Fort Wayne for the day. Mrs. F. G. Schinerer spent the day in Fort Wayne. NEXT GAME SATURDAY The Phi Delt basket ball team who opened their season Monday evening, at which they so successfully defeated the Fort Wayne Rayls, will stage another game in this city Saturday evening, having secured a game with the Fort Wayne Senators. The Senators are a fast bunch of basket-bailers, ihaving a stronger team than the Rayls [and come to this city witli the intention of defeating the locals, a feat which will be hard to do. A preliminary will be arranged for, and it will be well worth your time. Remember it’s Saturday night. ADDITIONAL SOCIETY A Thanksgiving program of unusual , interest and talent was given by the ( pupils of the First, Second and Third ( grades of the Riley school on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The t program consisted of the representation of the dlfferen historical charact- £ eers such as the Puritan fathers, Pil grims Indians in qostume making the program more effective. James Thonr as represented Massasoit and when it . came time for his part he surprised ! the pupils by giving them popco-r balls and apples which were presented by his mother Mrs. L. A. taking the stand. The evidence was concluded about 2:15 o’clock after which the attorneys began their arguments. The case will probably go to the jury this evening.
