(United Press Service) Lafayette, Ind., July 31.—The Thirtieth Annual meeting of the Indiana association of expert judges of swine, will be held in the live stock pavilion at Purdue, Lafayette, Indiana. Tuesday, August 12. 191'.). This association was organized over; thirty years ago for the I'urpose of affording the Indiana swine an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas as to the best development of swine, both for the market and breeding purposes. This year’s meeting will be held at the State Experiment station in over to secure the advantages offered by the station for such a meeting. I Specimens raised by the state er! some prominent breeder will be used for the scoring school. There will be a tour of inspection of the animal husbandry of the university with the idea of showing the value of the 1 different methods of handling and de-j vises used so produce the ideal breed-' Ing and fewyng av'mnl's with the least cost of labor and fee.l. A program of swine judging' wi'i begin in the live stock pavillion at 10 A. M. sharp. G-.axl specimens of different breeds of swine will be judged by the score card method and the different points of excellence discussed. A silver cup will be awarded to the party making tae highest score of al! breeds. Farmers from as far away as onehundred miles are making arrangements to drive through in their automobiles.
