I machine’s progress over its route, because of changes in weather, breakdowns, etc., much food and energy are wasted at every farm house each year in the old-fashioned "threshing dinners.” This new plan recently I adopted by the Root Township club will simplify matters greatly. It is by no means an entirely new plan because it lias been tried in many other places and libs proven a great suci cess. *■ Jf tJlt 1 Each man will carry his own. dinner and to his own home for supper. in this way the farmer’s wife will have to cook dinner for only the men who accompany the machine, thus making the problem i much simpler. By the co-operation of all concerned the club hopes to make this plan a most efficient and successful one. —Contributed. — J Dwight Peterson will leave Saturday tor Indianapolis where he has accepted a position in the bonding department of the'Citizen's Trust company.
