Beall, prominent Fort Wayne physician, who holds a commission as firs, lieutenant in the United States army, was today called into service. He will leave early next week for Little Rock. Ark., where he will go in training at Camp Pike. Soon after the outbreak of the war Dr. Beall offered his services to his country and later received the commission of first lieutenant. He has been awaiting his call for some time. Dr. Beall has acted in the capacity of the examining physician on the first city district, draft board over since the start of selective conscription. Adam A. Reinhart lias recommended to Governor Goodrich that Dr. A. L. Schneider be appointed to fill the vacancy on the board caused by Dr. Beall’s entrance into service.—Ft. Wayne News and Senjinel.
