ENNOBLING PLEASURES. 1 One of the most lending art crit- ’ les, John ('. Van Dyke, says: "You ■ must look at pictures studiously. • earnestly and hoovslly. It will take years before you can come to a full appreciation of it, but when at last yon have you will be posseted of one ■ of the purest, loftiest and most en- ' nobling pleasures that the world can ‘ offer you.” The Elson art pictures have been made by expert urtlsts. Each artist through bis picture will make you see with him and will make ’ you observe beauty. One great ob- ’ j«< l of picture study is that of pinr ning the eyes to the beauty all around ’ which an artist’s trained eye per- ’ reives. Through studying you will ob- ! tain in a large measure the power of art appreciation. These Elson art pictures which will be on exhibit next week tit the K, of P. home in charge of the high school will be of interest ’ to old and young, and they are expected to attract and instruct large numbers of people.
