MUST HAVE GARBAGE CANS. Dr. H. F. Costello, city health officer, today is issuing notices to all restaurants, confectioneries, groceries and other stores handling perishable goods that they must get regulation garbage cans with closed lids to hold decayed fruits and other debris that is thrown away. Formerly this rubbish was either thrown into the alley or into open barrels which drew the flies and also caused a bad odor, thus endangering the health of the community. With the new cans, this evil will be remedied. The orders state that this new receptacle must be secured within the next forty-eight hours. GETS A COUPELET. Dan Beery is driving a new Ford coupelet, which was delivered to him yesterday by the Kalver-Noble Garage company. The car is the latest model and certainly is a beauty. o— — MOOSE ANNUAL PICNIC.
