Kenneth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Runyon, who has been very seriously ill of pneumonia for three weeks, is improving. The funeral services for Paul Vogelgeseng, of Fort Wayne, were bol l from the home on Edgwater avenue this afternoon. Miss Mayme Krill, who was presented the automobile Saturday, was awarded ihe same on a purchase made at the Bernstein store. J. Fred France, of Indianapol: . clerk of the supreme court of India.m and Mrs. France are hero for a fewdays visit with Mr. and Mrs. F. E. France. They are enroute home l»om Bradentown, Florida, where they have been enjoying several weeks of the season of bad weather in the north. Mrs. Philip Meihls returned to her home in New Bern, North Carolina. Friday night after a six weeks visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Rex. of North SOcond street. Miss Rose Kauffmman returned to her work at Decatur this morning after having spent Sunday here with her mother on North Jefferson street. Berne Witness. , E. C. Bierie of Berne was accompanied here by his daughter, Mrs. 8. P. Hoffman, and son. Sterling. Mrs. { Hoffman has recovered nicely and is getting along well. Mrs. Jennie Burkhardt and Mrs. Ida Bethel returned to Hamilton this aC- - ernoon. They visited with a cousin, Mrs. Margaret Shell, who is ill. and - also with the George Koos family.
