Jess Walker, a farmer residing near Payne, Ohio, finally was successful. Walker tilled all the chambers of his 32 caliber revolver and went to the barn yard to end for all times his worries on this earth. He fired one shot atyi missed. He made a second attempt with the same result, bul the third time the bullet went crashing into his body’ just below the heart. Walker is believed to have been of unsound mind as the result of a tall from a hay mow a week ago.

They cane to ship the remainder of their homehold goods to Cadillac where they have lived several mouthy. - Mr. Imler also visited with his parents, Rev. and Mrs. I. Imler at Young America. Amos M. Danner, former Blue Creek township man. passed through here yesterday on his way front Fort Wayne to his home at Cambridge City. He attended the funeral of itis brother-in-law. F. F. Perry, engineer on the Grand Rapids <Si Indiana rail-, road at Fort Wayne, who died of pneumonia. Mr. Perry was an engineer for about 45 years.—Berne Witness. Madison county mourned the loss of a well known publisher during the month of January. Mr. A. D. Moffett, owner of the Elwood Daily Record, passed away in an Indianapolis hospital. He was one of those fearless type of editors who always managed to be on the right side of every question. Mrs. Moffett is learning the business affairs of the’office and will take over the managerial reigns.—City Editors.
