LIKE CLOCK-WORK! (By N. B. Cock. M. D.)
The machinery f the body needs to . be cilod, kept in good condition just as the automcb’le cr l.itycie. Why should the human neglect his own ! machinery more than that of his horse or his engine? Yec most people do ntgieet themselves. Their tongue has a dark brown color, skin sallow, breath bad, yet they fail to see that their machinery needs attention. Everybody should lake a mild laxative at least once a week. A pleasant way to clear the tongue and the highly color- . ed water noticed in the morning is to take a laxative which will cure the inactive liver and biliousness. i A pleasant vegetable pilf is made up ‘ of May-ai pie, leaves of aloes, and jalap made into a tiny pellet and coated with ' sugar. First put up by Dr. Pierce nearly 50 years ago. Druggists sell
