W. Zeublin, of Pendleton, relative to the . death of Mr.* Shady, a member of the 89th Indiana regiment, of which all are members. Mr. Zeublin is regimental secretary and in the card, he incidentally mentions the fact that aftthe last annual meeting held here last fall, no place was selected for the 1917 reunion, nor in fact, was it decided to have a reunion. He is thinking of calling a meeting of the county secretaries at some early date in the new year to be held at Marion for the purpose of talking over a reunion for next year. The ranks are rapidly thinning and the trips to the various reunion places are somtwhat strenuous for the aging men, hence each reunion has a smaller attendance. But some plan, it is hoped, may be reached, whereby they wi'l not be dropped altogether. o GROGG-DAVISON. William Grogg and Miss Do ma Davison of near Geneva were quietly married this afternoon at one o’clock at the Presbyterian parsonage by the Rev. J. C. Hanna.
