Madie, returned to Fort Wayne today after a month’s visit at the Coverdale farm. George Yake and Otto Smith left this morning for Kansas City where they will spend a few weeks with friends. Albert Gessinger returned to his home in Fort Wayne last evening after a short visit with friends and relatives here Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ball, of Bluffton, motored here last evening and were guests of the Jesse Helm family .for a short while. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gallogley, Mr and Mrs. 1. Bernstein motored to Sturgis, Mich., for a two days’ visit. Mr. C. C. Enos made a business trip to Fort Wayne this morning on interest of the Dowling-Schuey Co. Why don’t some one design a new trophy cup? Mr. Whithouse changed cars here this morning enroute home in Berne from Van Wert. Wilson F. Beery is the proud owner of a new Ford car which he had delivered to him this morning. Milton damage returned to his home in Chicago after a months visit here with his cousin, Bob Kalver. Mrs. Chester Imler arrived this afternoon from Cadillac, Mich., to visit with her parents, Mr and Mrs. D. V. Steele. Grover Miller returned to Frankfort this morning enroute home to Berne Fort Wayne and Decatur with friends and relatives. Following the session of the Rebekah lodge tonight the three link club will be entertained by Mrs. J. M. Miller at her home on Second street. Mace Cline, who is working for the Coco Cola works at Fort Wayne is held up here on account of a burned out bearing in the motor of the truck Robert Smith went to Indianapolis this morning to work for his brother Don. in the Busy-Bee restaurant. He was formerly employed at the Bimel Wheel Works at Portland. The City council will meet this evening in regular session. Bids for the improving of Line street will be received and awarded if same are agreeable to the committee in charge. Mrs. George Kelley of Billet. 111., who has been visiting near Grand Rapids, Mich., arrived this afternoon for a stay with the Charles Ford family before going to Van Buren to visit. Mr. and Mrs. B. J Terveer will leave tomorrow- for Toledo where they will spend a couple of weeks with their daughter, Mrs. C. R. Uhl and family. Mayme ireft Sunday for Toledo and will visit with Mr and Mrs Uhl this week. Miss Minnie Alexander, is spending a few days with her brother at Fort Recovery. O. Iler mother, Mrs. Harry Alexander is taking care of her work, the picture enlarging business at the Fullenkamp store, during her daughter’s absence. Attorney 1). B. Erwin has returned from Rochester, where he enjoyed a two weeks’ vacation at Lake Manitou. His family remained for a longer visit.
