OBITUARY. Miss Gladys Wilma Durbin was born in Pleasant Mills. Ind.. September 19, 1903. and departed from this i life to take up her abode in. eternity’s > realms May 30. 1918, her age being f 12 years. 4 months and 21 days. She I was the fourth and youngest child of Mr. ami Mrs. Samuel Durbin. ’ Though she had suffered much in her , short pilgrimage here on earth, we I have always found her patient and • amiable. Gladys was unconscious the greater part of her last illness. ; but as if being awakened by an an- | gelic hand she gained consciousness Monday morning and sweetly, knowingly and plainly sang sweeter, “As the Days Go By,” regardless of her , agonizing pain and bitter experiences . she recognized the nearness of the ’ heavenly guest. Then after singing "I Am Going Home to Glory in the Good Old-fashioned Way.” she sank 1 back into a state of unconsciousness and never awoke in this world any i more. She leaves here on earth to ' mourn her departure a father, mother, two sisters, one brother, other relatives and a host of sorrowful ; friends. Rev. George L. Conway officiated at the funeral services which were held at the Methodist Episcopal ' church in Pleasant Mills. DON'T USE SOAP AND WATER ON YOUR RUGS. The high-priced experts who take care of expensive rugs never use soap and water on rugs or carpets because it soaks in and rots the fibres so that the rug is left in broken and crumpled condition. Olsonite is a scientific compound that restores the colors, preserves the fibre and raises the nap on rugs and carpets. It is so easy to use you will be astonished that so little labor can produce such satifactory results. You just brush olsonite over the surface of the rug and wipe off—that is all — but it brings the colors back to their original beauty and brightness in truly wonderful way. Olsonite used occasionally will double the life of rugs and carpets. Olsonite is sold by druggists in airtight containers at 50c each. A package contains enough to restore the colors in two large 9x12 rugs or carpets. o Wise Young Kansan. Examination answers, as compiled by the high school reporters of the Turon Press: "I don’t know anything about the Constitution; I was born in Kansas. The minority is composed of minors. A person sinks In water because he can’t swim. Benjamin Franklin was the founder of electricity. The X. Y. Z. affair is the last part of the alphabet.”—Kansas <~'lty star. - — John Meredith of Liberty Townshin |nd. says his wife has been sdrely afflicted with Neurites or Rheumatism for forty years. He will tell you that San-Yak has given her more relief than any remedy she has ever taken. PETER McAFEE of Rockcreek Township Ind. says it has entirely driven Neuritis out of his system. JOHN CARLISLE of Bluffton will tell you the same. Jos. D. Beery of Decatur, solicitor for the Ft. Wayne Jour-nal-Gazette, says San Yak cured him of kidney trouble and rheumatism, in his arms and shoulders. L. C. Helm of Decatur, Ind., insurance and real estate man, ■ says San Yak is the right medicine for the kidneys and rheumatism. We could tell you of others in Decatur and Adams county.
