Alleging that said Indiana Lighting Company has acquired plants, propertv and franchises and has engaged in the business of supplying fight, heat and power by means of artificial gas to the cities of Fort Wayne, Bluffton, Lafayette. West Lafayette. Logansport. Peru, Wabash, Decatur, Lebanon, Frankfort, Ossian, Tocsin, Preble, Rich Valley, Potta watiomie Point, Villa North and Antioch, and Is supplying light, heat and power by means of electricity to the cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette, and is the owner of shares of capital stock and bonds of other public utility companies in tlie state of Indiana and the state of Ohio, ail of which property, together with all of its franchises and rights in the state ot Indiana, Is proposed to . be sold to the Northern Indiana Gas j and Electric Company, In consideration of the Six Per Cent Gold Bonds of said Northern Indiana Gas and Electric Company in the aggregate of 15,400,000, par value, and the assumption of the outstanding bonded indebtedness, of tlie said Indiana Lighting Company aggregating 13,000,000 par value and current operating expenses.
