lines of cars. Has many, many attractions. The band or music stand, with its massive columns, was a gift of the late Claus Spreckles, the sugar king. The park includes a menagerie, with grizzly bears. California panther, lions, tigers, kangaroos, and many other wild animals, an excellent acquarium. a conservatory, with many tropical plants, a gymnasium, a picture gallery, a library, and numerous amusements for children. We went down through China Town. It was instructive, but not pleasing. For next week we have planned, besides going t 6 the fair, to go to the Presidio, United States mint, Oriental House. Mare Island. My niece says a visit to the stock exchange is often exceedingly interesting to strangers. and she can certainly pilot one to more places in the least time of any one I ever knew, ft seems that every one vies with each other here
to be courteous to tourists. Besides the fair, there are so many, many interesting things yet to see. But were I to elaborate on what I have already seen it would take a quire of paper. Most respectfully, MARY C. ELEY. P. S.~—Since writing this letter 1 was joined by Miss Irene Myers, who arrived from the fair at San Diego, and wo have enjoyed a delightful trip around the bay together. o — SAGE Hi DANOI TO DARKEN HAIR Look years younger! Use the oldtime Sage Tea and Sulphur and nobody will know. You am turn gray, faded hair beautifully dark and lustrous almost over night if you’ll get a 50 cent bottle of “Wyeth’s Sage and Sulphur Mair Remedy” at any drug store. Millions of bottles of this old, famous Sage Tea Recipe are sold annually, says a well-known druggist here, because it darkens the hair so naturally and evenly that no one can tell it has been applied. Those whose hair is turning gray, be coming faded, dry, straggly and thin have a surprise awaiting them, because after one or two applications the gray hair vanishes and your locks become luxuriantly dark and beautiful —all dandruff goes, scalp itching and falling hair stops. This is the age of youth. Gray-haired, unattractive folks aren’t wanted around, so get busy with Wyeth’s Sage and Sulphur to-night and you’ll be delighted with your dark, handsome hair and your youthful appearance within a few days.
