The assessor his no authority to accept dog tax now and all delinquent tax must be paid to the township trustee or the prosecuting attorney, and when the prosecutor collects the delinquent tax, a penalty will be added, and if he is compelled to bring an action against the delinquent, the law says he shall receive live dollars for bis services in each case, which is paid by the delinquent dog owners.
