Furthermore, the law ..s construed by the state board, demands the trustee to report all delinquent dog tax to the prosecuting attorney immediately after the assessor makes his report, which time expired on June 12. The assessor his no authority to accept dog tax now and all delinquent tax must lie paid to the township trustee or the prosecuting attorney, and when the prosecutor collects the delinquent tax. a penalty will be added, and if he is compelled to bring an action against the delinquent, the law says he shall receive five dollars for his services in each case, which is paid by the delinquent dog owners.
