This same man spent tlie night there two weeks ago and had in his possession a new hc*se blanket. In the morning he was getting ready to burn it up when one of the workmen asked him for it. Igiter, George Hill reported the loss of a new blanket. I-ast night when the tramp again showed up the officers were notified. It is claimed by several of the men employed at the mill that the tramp had a quantity of brass which lie was breaking into small pieces. When the officers took him into custody, however, this couid not be found. The man will be held several days pending tlie identification of the blanket by Mr. Hill, and it is also thought probable that he might be wanted in some other city.
